All contracts of carriage (transport, towing, salvage including heavy salvage) are carried as Limited Carrier’s Risk as defined in the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017. The liability of the carrier for loss of, or damage to, any goods is limited in each case to a maximum amount of $2,000 for each unit of goods lost or damaged.

All rates are GST exclusive and are charged from Hawkes Bay Towing Depot.

Rates may be subject to change with Government RUC and fuel prices, Hawkes Bay Towing will consult with customers should this occur.

All/any work carried out on a Public Holiday will incur additional rates.

All price estimates are based on normal working hours (at our discretion) Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm.

Any work done outside normal business hours will incur over time surcharges.

The customer is responsible for clear and unrestricted site access and the site is adequate to support our trucks.

The customer will be responsible for recovery of all equipment stuck onsite at Hawkes Bay Towing 39 Whakatu Rd, Hastings, NZ.

Where the customer has understated the weight/dimensions/job requirements and HB Towing has relied on this information, the customer is responsible for all extra cost/permits and risk incurred.

Hawkes Bay Towing may undertake a job/site inspection at the customers cost where applicable.

Job pricing estimates are valid for 30 days from being issued.
